Our story
What's now the Millstone Township location opened its doors in the late 1960s as Harter Equipment, built by Seth Harter and later run by his daughter, Sue. For decades it served New Jersey's farming businesses as a trusted John Deere and Kubota tractor dealer.
In 2019, the location joined the Heavy Duty Export family — a company with roots going back to 1933. The name on the sign changed; the dependable tractor sales and the honest way we treat customers didn't.
Today we carry quality tractors from major manufacturers, with all sales handled straight out of our yard.

Start it, run it, put it through its paces. We'd rather you find an issue in our yard than after you've paid for it.
